As a companion to the affirmations article I published yesterday, here’s a list of affirmations that I put together and use frequently. I offer them for the sake of reference. You may like a few of them, most of them or none at all. Feel free to take what you like and integrate them into your own list.
I wrote most of these affirmations myself although many of them come from Sanaya Roman and Duane Packer’s excellent book, Creating Money. You can also find some great affirmations in Creative Visualization by Shakti Gawain.
Keep your list of affirmations fresh and meaningful by revising it as often as it occurs to you to do so. If one affirmation in particular seems to lose its power, toss it; perhaps you’ll think of a more effective one to take its place. As you begin using them more consistently, you’ll find that great affirmations relevant to your current circumstances just pop into your head from time to time.
And keep your antennae up while you’re reading spiritual books and articles; if a good affirmation jumps out at you, add it to your collection. If you allow yourself to get into a rut by repeating the same stale affirmations over and over day in and day out, you’ll gradually lose interest and abandon the practice altogether.

It was a “light bulb moment” for me to read what you wrote about using multiple affirmations and changing the list to keep it fresh. I’ve just been moving towards that and felt vaguely guilty, as if I were doing something a little sketchy. I also create different affs for different areas of my life (based on using my favorite Life Wheel). Most who write about affirmations don’t bring this out clearly enough, IMO. Thanks!

I like daily spiritual affirmations as well. The starting-point must be God and his infinite goodness, and Love. If we fill our thoughts with God’s Love, there can be no room for what isn’t lovely. Thanks for your post.

You’re very welcome, Kenneth. I completely agree that the more we invite God into our lives, the less room there is for baser desires.

Your list of affirmations is wonderful. Imagine what the world would be like if all people of faith would practice the simple art of affirmations every day.
What a great idea to keep one’s eyes peeled for affirmation possibilities and keeping the list fresh and new. Great post!

Thanks, Paul! It’s nice to see so many people spreading the word about the power of affirmations!

Thanks, Phil for these beautiful affirmations. I feel like it’s telling me to do my daily journal of affirmations again. I have not been writing although I am “talking” with God often. The writing part is wonderful, it is there when I need to go back to and I often wonder how I was able to write them. When you are inspired by the Holy Spirit, you are writing God’s words. Someone wrote these words to me: “When God is with you, it doesn’t matter who is against you.” It gives me so much confidence that I am never alone, that God is with me always.

I’m glad the affirmations speak to you, Ethel. It’s true that when you live your life as one long prayer, you are never alone. Even if you live by yourself, you will always feel loved and cherished.

Phil, your affirmations are great. Have you every considered putting your affirmations with pictures and creating a positive affirmation calendar? I would buy one, maybe lots for gifts at Christmastime! You are the best, and in my faves to stay. Margaret

Thanks, Margaret! No, I hadn’t considered a calendar. It’s a nice idea!
