True that, although I don't recall the scriptural verse that extols the virtues of water parks and miniature golf!

ANd that is what it is all about. To love and to be loved. Because all the silly things and stupid times are more important than anything else. They are what matters.

Life is not about nothingness, it is about creating ourselves by and thru that which we love because THAT is what creates us. And He knew this.

It is what he told us to go and do, and then he showed us how it is done so that we would never forget.

Not only have the "grandcubs" not been born yet, they have not been conceived yet! No pressure, right?! :)

That was a wonderful trip and, indeed, a fond farewell to a treasured tradition.

Love you!

You're welcome! Hope you have lots of fun creating your own Dells memories! I've already got reservations made to bring my grandcubs to the Dells in 2015—and they haven't even been born yet!

What great memories of the Dells! To me, that is what the Dells is all about - creating special memories with your family. I went to the Dells many times with my family when I was a kid. Now that I have a family of my own, I love taking my kids there. My kids are still young, so we have many years of childhood fun ahead of us. Thanks for sharing your memories.

I have a Wisconsin Dells blog if you're interested in reading it - www.dellsadvice.com
