That remarkable day in my Reiki Two class when I successfully sent and received energy, the teacher casually mentioned something that sounded both very outrageous and very cool. She said that because divine energy operates beyond the constraints of space and time, we could remotely send Reiki energy to people back in, say, 1948 . . . or to someone five minutes or five years from now. So if a friend was having difficulty healing from a physical or emotional trauma, we could send loving energy to them at the time that they were actually experiencing the crisis, which would retroactively aid in their healing process.
On one hand, did I mention how outrageous a concept that is? On the other hand, the complex web of divine energy that we call the universe is referred to in quantum physics as the unified field. Deepak Chopra describes this conscious energy field as “literally an expression of the mind of God.”
I’ve also repeatedly come across the concept that time is an illusion, a man-made construct. This hypothesis, increasingly embraced by theoretical physicists, holds that there is no past or future. There is only now, the present moment, which serves as the portal to infinity. Everything that has happened, everything that ever will happen, is happening now.
Okay, now my brain hurts. Excuse me while I send some Reiki energy to the person I was when I started typing this post.

Order it at GodIsLogical.com.
In this eBook, you’ll find answers to questions like:
• What is the cornerstone of a spiritual life, and why?
• What is the secret to liberating yourself from other people’s judgments and expectations?
• Why is there an exception to “Everything happens for a reason”?
Those who worship logic instead of God are only half right. Not only is it logical to believe in God and to live a faith-based life, the existence of a loving, benevolent God that governs all creation is perhaps the only systematic worldview that explains every aspect of life.
