Pardon Me While I Mess With Your Mind

Ever since I was a kid, I thought optical illusions were cool. Here are some of my favorites. Hope you enjoy them!

Is this a young girl or an old woman?

What word does this image spell?

Do you see this man's face straight on or in profile?

Do you see this man’s face straight on or in profile?

How cool is this?

Is this one face or two?

Is this a woman putting on makeup or . . . something else?

Is this a horn player or a woman?

Just for fun, here are some mind-bending photos that make you scratch your head and think, “How’d they do that?”

Phil’s eBook, The Logic of Living a Spiritual Life: Supporting a Life of Faith Through Logic and Reason, is now available for 99 cents on Amazon.

In this eBook, you’ll find answers to questions like:
• What is the cornerstone of a spiritual life, and why?
• What is the secret to liberating yourself from other people’s judgments and expectations?
• Why is there an exception to “Everything happens for a reason”?

Those who worship logic instead of God are only half right. Not only is it logical to believe in God and to live a faith-based life, the existence of a loving, benevolent God that governs all creation is perhaps the only systematic worldview that explains every aspect of life.

So glad you got the last one in there, I was just looking at it in my files. Love the illusions. I think my Children probably spent a good two weeks with the floor/roof.

  7. Deb Says:

My favorite is the one with the tiled courtyard. It’s a good metaphor for the way we may perceive ourselves and others. Am I the one on solid ground, or do I need help up? Thanks, Phil, and Happy New Year to you!

  8. Phil Bolsta Says:

Happy New Year to you too, Deb!

  9. Jeanne Daves Says:

One of Master’s chants: “I am the bubble, make me the sea.” I liked them all. The illusion of the deck blending in with the sea is my favorite. Still working on the tile courtyard. The others I figured out. Thanks for sharing the fun. Jeanne
