I was pleased and privileged to speak tonight at Kathryn Harwig‘s monthly Intuitive Forum gathering in Maple Grove, Minnesota. I had interviewed Kathryn, a respected author and healer, for my book, Sixty Seconds: One Moment Changes Everything, and had sought her wise counsel while writing my new book, Through God’s Eyes: Finding Peace and Purpose in a Troubled World.
Tonight I told stories from my books and read excerpts from Through God’s Eyes with the able assistance of Lori Anne Yang, a good friend and the founder of Mammaste, LLC. Through its message, products and philanthropy, Mammaste promotes loving the whole world with a mother’s heart and reminds us to see divinity in ourselves and others. I was also grateful that the immensely talented Max Haynes showed up with his camera to take some photos. Thank you, Max!
I spoke to the audience, which numbered close to one hundred forty, for about thirty-five minutes. After the event, I signed copies of both of my books for people who wanted to own a copy for themselves. I met lots of interesting people and started some new friendships as a result. Thank you, Kathryn, for an enjoyable and memorable evening!

Phil’s eBook, The Logic of Living a Spiritual Life: Supporting a Life of Faith Through Logic and Reason, is now available for 99 cents on Amazon.

In this eBook, you’ll find answers to questions like:
• What is the cornerstone of a spiritual life, and why?
• What is the secret to liberating yourself from other people’s judgments and expectations?
• Why is there an exception to “Everything happens for a reason”?
Those who worship logic instead of God are only half right. Not only is it logical to believe in God and to live a faith-based life, the existence of a loving, benevolent God that governs all creation is perhaps the only systematic worldview that explains every aspect of life.
