My Video Interview With Alphatudes Author Michele Wahlder

Michele Wahlder

Michele Wahlder, author of Alphatudes: The Alphabet of Gratitude, is a certified life coach, career counselor, speaker and gratitude enthusiast. She is the founder of Life Possibilities, LLC, a company that champions people to become the highest vision they hold for themselves in their lives, careers and relationships. Michele has also worked with organizations such as and Lucent Technologies to improve individual performance and organizational effectiveness.

Michele’s passion for gratitude is all the more impressive considering that in 2001, two weeks after being diagnosed with and beginning treatment for breast cancer, she was laid off from work and her boyfriend confessed he was cheating on her. While gratitude cannot prevent or even lessen emotional pain, it can accelerate the healing process and help you recover faster.

Phil’s eBook, The Logic of Living a Spiritual Life: Supporting a Life of Faith Through Logic and Reason, is now available for 99 cents on Amazon.

In this eBook, you’ll find answers to questions like:
• What is the cornerstone of a spiritual life, and why?
• What is the secret to liberating yourself from other people’s judgments and expectations?
• Why is there an exception to “Everything happens for a reason”?

Those who worship logic instead of God are only half right. Not only is it logical to believe in God and to live a faith-based life, the existence of a loving, benevolent God that governs all creation is perhaps the only systematic worldview that explains every aspect of life.

  1. ArrVee Says:

in times of trial (like those Michele went through), we have a spiritual fight-or-flight choice of responses, and in “fight” mode, we focus on the positive aspect of things. We don’t need to wait for the trials in life in order to tap into this mode, but should develop it proactively, so that it will be our default response mode.

another interpretation of Alphatudes is Alpha-like attitudes – attitudes of self-assurance, emotional strength, courage, independence and proactiveness – that allow one to always rise above any situation.

  2. Phil Bolsta Says:

Cool reinterpretation of Alphatudes, ArrVee! And yes, the challenge is to be proactive instead of reactive in life. That makes all the difference!

  3. Chris Cade Says:

I really enjoyed Alphatudes – it’s just such a simple book, yet contains deep wisdom. I appreciated the way Michele was able to teach without preaching… to be very down to earth, and of course the pictures / short prayers were great ways to bring attention back to the content of the book, without having the reader get lost in the common density of much spiritual reading today.

Thanks for interviewing her, Phil! It’s always great to hear their stories in more personal mediums like video.

  4. Phil Bolsta Says:

My pleasure, Chris. That’s exactly why I enjoy doing these interviews—for people like you who appreciate them!
