Begin Again, as Often as Necessary

Many people are intimidated by meditation because they fear they cannot sufficiently quiet their mind. During meditation, do not be discouraged if your attention drifts and worldly thoughts intrude. Simply begin again as if you had just begun.

If the heart wanders or is distracted, bring it back to the point quite gently and replace it tenderly in its (more…)
