Razy Gogonea: Matrix Man!

Razy Gogonea

I found Razy Gogonea‘s April 23, 2011 audition for Britain’s Got Talent enjoyable not simply because of his ability, but because he wasn’t afraid to go after his dream. It’s guys like Razy who inspire others to work hard and dream big. You could tell how much this opportunity meant to him as he awaited the judges’ verdict. In fact, I was getting emotional just watching him get emotional! When someone is that authentic and is willing to lay it all on the line, I can’t help but root for him. Bravo, Razy!

UPDATE: Razy finished in a very respectful fourth place. Here is his performance in the Finals.

  1. Kathleen Says:

Brilliant! Wish someone would pay him to do what he loves to do.

  2. Phil Bolsta Says:

Well, he’s a lot closer to that after this performance, Kathleen!

  3. Teresa Says:

Did you see his performance in the final? Absolutely stunning, so I voted for him despite hating myself for donating to the Cowell Empire, as I call it. I just wanted Razy to win so badly.

I think lots of people turn on the waterworks in semi finals to get votes – notice how Razy switched them off in the semi and the final and grew in confidence. This elevates my view of him.
I cried my eyes out when he cried in the audition and dance-off with Michael though. Such a lovely man with wonderful talent. I really hope to see more of him in the future.

  4. Phil Bolsta Says:

Yes, I was impressed that Razy introduced the fire element in his performance. His basic moves are terrific but I think he needs to expand his repertoire. I too was impressed with how he got his emotions under control. I think he probably felt that he had made it that far and he would be a winner no matter what.

  5. ionut Says:

Razy didnt want to cry anymore in the semi and final cause he did already too much… and for him to be in the semis it was already a win… he didnt expect that he will make it to the final… and in the final he just want to show to the people that he can do something els not just dancing… he didnt care if he win it or not… he just wanted to show what he loves to do … and not only breakdancing.

  6. Phil Bolsta Says:

Yes, acts like Razy are winners by getting so much exposure no matter where they finish up. I hope he’s able to build on this success!

  7. ionut Says:
