Long Walks in Stormy Weather

Now that I’m living in Encinitas, California, I am two thousand miles away from Minnesota winters. Excuse me while I do the “no more winters” happy dance.. . . Okay, that was rather enjoyable.

Now, having said that, I have to admit that I do miss that invigorating inhalation of brisk, cold air you get when you walk outside in frigid weather. But I’m not willing to endure being frozen for three months just for occasional ten-second pleasures.
