We Dream the Dream Along With God

salvador-dali-melting-clockThe Hindu deity Vishnu is portrayed as the divine dreamer of the world dream. Adherents view the material world as a dream of God, a projection of cosmic consciousness. We are not separate from God, and so we dream the dream along with God. The dream and the dreamer are one and the same.

We are literally God exploring God’s self in an infinite Dance of Life.

It’s Reiki Time!

remotely-sending-reiki-energyThat remarkable day in my Reiki Two class when I successfully sent and received energy, the teacher casually mentioned something that sounded both very outrageous and very cool. She said that because divine energy operates beyond the constraints of space and time, we could remotely send Reiki energy to people back in, say, 1948 . . . or to someone five minutes or five years from now. So if a friend was having difficulty healing from a physical or emotional trauma, we could send loving energy to them at the time that they were actually experiencing the crisis, which would retroactively aid in their healing process.

It’s About Time

One notion I keep on bumping into in the course of my reading is that time is an illusion, a man-made construct. This hypothesis, increasingly embraced by theoretical physicists, holds that there is no past or future. There is only now, the present moment, which serves as the portal to infinity. Everything that has happened, everything that ever will happen, is happening now.

Time is what keeps everything from happening at once.

This concept has been around for quite some time (meaning, I suppose, that it has always been, and will always be, around). For instance, Kurt Vonnegut wrote in his 1959 masterpiece, The Sirens of Titan, ” . . . everything that (more…)
